Event Details
Does your child need practice reading aloud? Try Book Buddies! Kids will be partnered with teen volunteers and will spend 25 minutes each week reading aloud to them.
Book Buddies is recommended for students who have completed Kindergarten through 4th Grade, though readers of any grade level looking for reading practice are welcome to sign up. Book Buddies is not a tutoring session, but an opportunity for kids to practice reading with confidence in a non-judgmental space.
*please note that when registering, you are registering for the entire 4-week series, October 5-26 at 2:30*
We will provide reading materials, but feel free to bring your own! Caregivers are required to stay in the Library for the entire session but may choose whether or not to remain in the room during the session. Please register with your child's name. Caregivers do not need to register.
