Join us for current conversations on relevant and timely topics affecting our community.

From claims that stress is at “alarming” levels to fears of a “Great Resignation” and concerns about “quiet quitting,” there seems to be an endless supply of catastrophizing about the state of the modern US workplace. Join School for Professional Studies Professor Matt Grawitch from St. Louis University as he talks about such catastrophizing and argues that hyperbolic claims about toxic workplaces and stress epidemics actually do more harm than good. Few workplaces are perfect, but just as few are as dysfunctional as we are led to believe.
