Women have long played an important role in America's military conflicts, but it is only recently that they have been allowed to officially serve in frontline combat roles. That didn't stop women like Deborah Sampson or Frances Clayton, who enlisted and fought by disguising themselves as men. Celebrate Women's History Month with us as we uncover the stories of these fascinating women, some of whom served in Missouri regiments!
