Join us for the previewing of the documentary "Silent Fallout" which is based on the St Louis Baby Tooth Study. This historic study was conducted in the St. Louis area and is relevant to health issues of the local population. Many local residents participated in the original baby tooth study. The results from this study helped with laying the foundation for the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty of 1963, between the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union.
Hideaki Ito is an award winning Japanese filmmaker. This is his third documentary relating to radioactive contamination. This documentary has been previewed only in Japan. St. Louis is his first stop in the United States for the previewing of this documentary prior to the public screening in October.
