Did you know that the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, is located a stone's throw of the Missouri River, the Katy Trail State Park, and is in the heart of historic St. Charles? This historic site served as Missouri's first state capitol from 1821 to 1826, before the state's permanent capitol settled in Jefferson City.
Come learn about this wonderful historic site, its exhibits, the tours available to visitors, and how it offers the public a glimpse into Missouri's early history! In addition, there will be tables set up with a variety of interactive materials such as pelts, quill pen writing, and knot tying.
This class will be presented by one of the interpreters of the First Missouri State Capitol Historic Site.
