Pick up a copy of "I Survived: The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912" by Lauren Tarshis and adapted by Georgia Ball at the Youth Services desk at the Middendorf-Kredell branch.

Do you love reading graphic novels? Then join our graphic novel book club for grades 1-3! Each month we will read and discuss a graphic novel, learn a little bit about graphic novels and comics and chat about our favorites, and participate in some fun crafts, games, and activities related to the book! A description of November's title is below:

Ten-year-old George Calder can't wait to explore every inch of the Titanic, even if his little sister, Phoebe, has to tag along. But when George sneaks away without her and ventures into the first class baggage room, a terrible boom shakes the entire boat. Suddenly, water is everywhere, and George's life changes forever.
