Program Description

Event Details

In commemoration of America's 250th anniversary, the St. Charles City-County Library is offering a wide variety of presentations and programs throughout the year, highlighting local, state, and national events, time periods, and cultural moments.

A painting depicting Lewis and Clark with Sacagawea and York at the Great Falls of Missouri.

Meriwether Lewis visits the Library to tell us tales from his time as part of the Corps of Discovery Expedition. His journey through the Louisiana Purchase was instrumental in the westward expansion of our country. He'll regale you with tales of his adventures that began right here in St. Louis and took him all the way to the Pacific ocean, across a vast wilderness and with the help of William Clark and Sacagawea.

This program is on tour around the district! Check the March calendar to view the full list of available dates.
