Celebrate the 40th anniversary of American Girl® this year at the Library! Enjoy snacks and themed crafts while watching Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.
This is a family/group event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
"Kit's happy childhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, is abruptly interrupted during the United States' Great Depression when her father loses his business and must leave the city to find work. Kit and her mother manage by tending their vegetable garden and taking in boarders. But when a crime spree sweeps Cincinnati, striking even Kit's mother -- and Kit's friends are suspected -- Kit determines to find the culprit but discovers a plot that goes far beyond Cincinnati!"
