As part of our America 250 celebration, this talk will showcase the artistry and research of a seamstress who recreates Revolutionary War-era clothing, including pieces featured in the American Revolutionary War in the West traveling exhibit.
About the Presenter:
Kathy Nadeau taught herself to sew when reenacting ignited a creative spark. She has spent the past 12 years bringing history to life through fabric. Her work - meticulously documented through storyboards and showcased in exhibits like American Revolutionary War in the West - reflects both her craftsmanship and deep respect for the past.
