Program Description

Event Details

Fun exploration of topics that keep school-aged kids thinking and learning.

The year is 1518 and the place is the Holy Roman Empire. A woman emerges from her home, dancing madly and unable to stop. Over the next few weeks, others begin dancing uncontrollably and nothing priests or doctors do seem to stop it. Join us as we learn about this spooky phenomenon and see if we can discover the cause behind the madness.

Recommended for grades 1-5. Space is limited so please limit family attendance to one parent or caregiver. Parents of older children are welcome to browse the Library.

*This is the same program as the Homeschool Explorers: The Dancing Plague at the WingHaven® Branch on October 3, 2023.*
