Program Description

Event Details

Come explore the barren land called Antarctica. We'll learn about Roald Amundsen, the first explorer to reach the South Pole, study the unique climate and geography of the continent, and discover who or what populates this large land mass.

For Grades 1-5. Children who are seven years old and younger should have a guardian with them to assist. Space is limited so please limit family attendance to one parent or caregiver. Parents of older children are welcome to browse the Library.

*This is the same program as the Homeschool Explorers: Explore Antarctica at the Deer Run Branch on December 14, 2023.*
