Event Details

A guide to understanding agencies and their unique roles in working with people with disabilities will be presented. Learn about the meaning of these initials "VR, DDRB, DACT, MPACT, CRP" and what each disability service provider offers.

Join BCI Benefits Case Manager Sandy Weitkamp as she shares how to find resources for caregivers for people with disabilities. 

This presentation is appropriate for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Sandy Weitkamp, Benefits Case Manager for the Skills Center, a Vocational Training company for people with disabilities. This is an excellent resource for caregivers for those with disabilities. Her knowledge of Social Security and Medicaid programs are instrumental in helping people with disabilities join the workforce without fear of losing needed supports. She is a community resource for anyone who has questions. Sandy has bachelor's degrees in Educational Studies and Special Education as well as a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
