Program Description
Event Details
This program is part of our annual How-to-Festival!
Many people desire to read the Bible but are overwhelmed by its size, understanding of ancient cultural practices, and the archaic language. We will go over how the Bible is designed to be read as one unified storyline that covers thousands of years of stories through various literary genres and 40 different authors. This basic course will examine how the Bible came to be and the overarching themes and motifs that help the reader understand the big picture. While the Bible is of course a religious text, this particular course focuses on the book more as a historical and literary document.
Participants are encouraged to bring a Bible if they would like to follow along.
