Do you have an interest in learning how to write lyrics? Then consider attending this workshop presented by Mountain Sam Wheelock!
This lyric writing workshop begins with a brief history of popular recordings, including the background of a few compositions. Attendees will work on an in-class writing of a song section from one of Mountain Sam Wheelock's original compositions. The focus will be on understanding how cadence functions to fit lyrics with music.
Guidance and suggestions are provided. Time permitting, Sam will perform student's lyrics with his music for those who are comfortable.
