Event Details

Interested in backpacking through the great outdoors? Or camping off the beaten path? Or do you want to prep yourself for the zombie apocalypse? This is the class for you! Join Jan Syrigos of Wildheart fame as she teaches practical hands-on techniques to address your first concerns in a survival setting. This includes utilizing the simple items found in your pocket, creating a fire, building a shelter, collecting water, and learning which plants are safe to eat. 

This event will be hosted at the Veterans Tribute Park in Shelter #1. Click here for park information and map. 

In the event of bad weather, this program will be held at the Kisker Road Library.
