Peanut butter, beer, and Maya Angelou all have roots in St Louis!

peanuts, malt, maya angelouWe will take a tour of the origins of each that helped shape American history by becoming cornerstones of American culture. From the experiments with peanut butter and sliced bread, to the prominence of the beer industry in St Louis, to the influence of St Louis born Maya Angelou on the American Dream, the Gateway City has contributed to shaping the daily lives of generations of Americans.

The presenter for this event is Raffi Andonian, a Celebrity Historian, host of Clio the Muse on Apple TV, frequent guest on ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX nationwide including an Emmy-winning appearance, author of 3 bestselling books on history, frequent public speaker at a variety of venues including Cambridge, Oxford, and Humanities Councils throughout the country, and runs a workshop entitled "Harmonize Your Workforce."
