At the festival, Missourians of all ages assist the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) in catching and tagging monarch
butterflies in the area. Lively entertainment through music, family education activities, retail vendors, food trucks, face painting, Missouri
native plant seedling giveaways, and other festival components make the hours fly by.
