Program Description
Event Details
We will be creating a new block every month. Next fall you can put them together to make a beautiful lap quilt. New participants are welcome anytime. We're happy to see you.
If you want your quilt blocks to coordinate with each other you will need:
- 1 ½ yards of background fabric
- 1 yard of main fabric. Choose a floral or colorful fabric with lots of variety in it.
- 2-3 accent fabrics that compliment the main fabric. You need about 1/2 yard of each or 6-8 fat quarters
This month we are making the Antique Tile block
You will need:
- your fabric
- Gray thread
- your sewing machine
- your sewing tools: scissors, seam ripper, pins or clips, your quilting tools
This block can be used to create the sampler quilt, or use it as the basis for another sewing project, pillow, tote bag, and so much more.
We will have cutting rulers, mats, and rotary cutters for your use.
