Event Details
Social media affects all of us whether we realize it or not. Some social media can have a positive impact on our social and mental well-being while other aspects of social media can have lasting and devastating effects. In this live learning experience, we discuss harmful aspects of social media such as addiction, negative health effects, cyberbullying, and being mindful of what we post. This program also encourages young lives to think outside of the box as we discuss realistic scenarios and how to handle crisis situations. Information about free mental health and suicide resources are provided at the end of each live learning experience along with an A.R.C. Angels t-shirt.
Recommended for 6th-12th Grade and Adults.
