Sewing 101: Pincushions, Pattern Weights, and Sewing Mats

Program Description

Event Details

Time to create some of the tools we need in our toolkit.  We have patterns for pattern weights, pin cushions, scissors case, trash containers and sewing mats that will help you stay organized while sewing. Create the ones you want or make several for gifts.  

You will need:

  • 1 yard of cotton fabric or 3-4 fat quarters of cotton fabric (you can use scraps if you want)
  • your sewing machine
  • Thread and sewing tools

We'll provide batting, stuffing, and ground walnut shells or sand for the projects.
