For all the chefs and bakers out there, Take & Make is now stirring up something in the kitchen! Explore different spices and herbs with us throughout the year. July's theme is cumin.
We will supply the spice as well as the recipe to get you started. Kits will be available for pickup beginning June 5 and must be picked up by June 27 . Make your burgers over the course of the month and then meet with us on July 6 at 6:30 pm to discuss our dishes: what went right, what went wrong, what changes you made, whether or not you would make it again. We want to talk about it all. We'd love for you to take pictures as you cook and share those with us too.
Included in the kit:
- Cumin
- Recipe
Additional ingredients needed:
- black beans OR ground turkey OR ground beef
- bell pepper and onion
- garlic
- egg
- bread crumbs
Kits will be available while supplies last at the Spencer Road Branch or Winghaven® Branch. You must register before picking up a kit.
This class meets both in-person and online. Prior to the class, all registrants will be emailed a link to participate virtually, if they so chose. No account necessary!
