Join Sandy Weitkamp as she illustrates the importance of self-advocacy skills for people with disabilities. She will discuss three steps that will help individuals increase their skills so they can more fully participate in school, work, and life. This presentation is appropriate for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Sandy W, Skills Center

Sandy Weitkamp, Benefits Case Manager for the Skills Center, a Vocational Training company for people with disabilities. This is an excellent resource for caregivers for those with disabilities. Her knowledge of Social Security and Medicaid programs are instrumental in helping people with disabilities join the workforce without fear of losing needed supports. She is a community resource for anyone who has questions. Sandy has bachelor's degrees in Educational Studies and Special Education as well as a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
