Program Description

Event Details

This class will show you how to make some cool Halloween decor for your home and teach you a little about special effects. Have you ever wondered how Disney creates the ghostly figures in their Haunted Mansion Tour? It is called the Pepper’s Ghost Effect and it is easy and inexpensive to recreate using common household items.

In addition, we will be making a spooky version of the traditional fairy light jar.  

Your guests this Halloween season will be dazzled!

The Pepper’s Ghost Effect requires a cell phone or tablet to work. During the class, we will provide tablets so you can learn how to create the effect even if you don’t have a smart device.

Tricks, Treats, and Halloween Decor is being held later the same day at 6:30 pm. Pick the one date and time that works best for you.

Unaccompanied Child Parental Permission Form

Any children between the ages of 10 and 16 who will be attending this program without an adult present in the library must have a copy of the Unaccompanied Child Parental Permission Form on file. This form only needs to be filled once per school year.
