Event Details
VITA provides free tax service to people with medium to low income at the Corporate Parkway Branch. This assistance is offered on a walk-in basis starting at 10:30 am. There are a limited number of spots each day.
The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program has operated for over 50 years. VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. VITA sites are staffed by IRS-certified volunteers.
Please bring the following to your appointment:
- Federal & state income tax forms from last year
- W-2’s 1099’s & Social Security form #SSA1099
- Information on wages interest dividends capital gains & other income
- Records of quarterly estimated taxes paid
- Receipts of tax deductible items if itemizing
- Paid property tax receipt or rent receipts
- Social Security Cards or Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN) for all family members
- Valid picture ID for taxpayer & spouse (driver's license state ID or passport)
- A copy of a voided check or bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit
