Program Description
Event Details
In commemoration of America's 250th anniversary, the St. Charles City-County Library is offering a wide variety of presentations and programs throughout the year, highlighting local, state, and national events, time periods, and cultural moments.
In this series, we will take a deep dive into the archives and explore key events, historical mysteries, and traditional folktales that have shaped the world we live in today.
In 2015, after remaining a mystery for more than four centuries, the lost city of Etzanoa was rediscovered in Arkansas, Kansas. According to experts, this massive settlement was home to an estimated 20,000. This archeological site is an active field school and is filling important gaps in current knowledge relating to Native American history.
