Come learn about light! Children will use flashlights, colorful materials, and simple tools to experiment with shapes and sizes of shadows.
Family STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is a program or approach designed to engage families in hands-on, interactive learning experiences that focus on STEM concepts. It encourages parents and caregivers to work alongside their children to explore and discover scientific principles, technology tools, engineering design, and mathematical concepts. The goal is to create a fun, collaborative environment where families can learn together, solving problems and experimenting with ideas in a way that's both educational and enjoyable.
For children preschool aged and older. Not recommended for children younger than three years old.
Please register each child attending individually, including siblings, regardless of their age. Parents and guardians do not need to register.
*Both the 9:30 am and 11 am Family STEM sessions are the same program, so please only register for one Family STEM session.
