Event Details
"Let's Read" is a book club for kids! Please pick up a copy of the book at the hosting branch, read on your own, and then come into the library for a group discussion and fun activities about the book you read!
Copies are available starting one month prior to the discussion, while supplies last.
This month's read: Angry and humiliated when his sharecropper father is jailed for stealing food for his family, a young black boy grows in courage and understanding by learning to read and through his relationship with his devoted dog Sounder.
