Event Details

Make It Sew is a monthly group that works on a different sewing project each month. Each meeting starts with a Show & Tell of personal projects.

In the first class, you learned how to get started on an I SPY quilt. We talked about fabric and supplies and what to expect. In the second class, we started the actual quilt after you had a chance to find your fabrics. The quilt will end up approximately 48" x 57", and you could make it larger or smaller. Hopefully you've learned some quilt basics such as selecting fabric, rotary cutting, sewing accurately, adding borders, and finishing a quilt, etc! 

We do have a couple of sewing machines that you could use if yours is not portable.

Class 1 - Getting Started and Purchasing Fabric (March 9)

Class 2 - Cutting and Sewing (March 23)

Class 3 - Finishing the Sewing and Wrapping it Up (April 6)
