Art Exploration!

The background is a geometric pattern of triangles overlaid with paint texture. A gold line traces out stylized leaves on the corners and encircles the center. A large, square splotch of paint sits within the circle. The words "let's create" are animated to rise above the paint, and the words "pattern painting" are set within the paint. A few lines underscore the word "painting." An animation of swirling dots in different colors centers on the word "painting."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will be learning how to paint geometric patterns inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian and the Cubist art movement.

Recommended for grades K-5.
