Program Description
Event Details
We'll be using a free online pattern to create our 32" x 33" Halloween wall hanging. There are four parts to this project. This month we will be working on bats, stars, and a cat.
You will need to go to the website (not the library website) and print out your own patterns due to copyright restrictions. Go to fatquartershop.com and in the search box in the top right corner, type in Haunted Halloween Mystery Quilt Along. You will see the links to the patterns.
For this month's class, please print out the following:
Printout - Fabric Requirements (bring your own fabric) - 1 page
Printout - Week 1 - Bat in the Sky and Star Blocks - 4 pages
Printout - Week 2 - Kitty Cat Block - 3 pages
If you need help cutting out or assembling the blocks, I'm glad to help you during class. If you are confident with rotary cutting, please come with your blocks cut out. You will likely need to finish your blocks outside of class.
Next month's class is on Friday, October 6, also from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. Please register for this separately.
If you are planning on using one of the library's sewing machines, please let me know and come about 10 minutes early to class to get it all set up.
